I think realistically there will be more than 80k. That said, I think a lot of post-S1 reservation holders don’t realize how far away their deliveries are.

I mean, I literally live 5 minutes away from one of the few actually operating service centers and I’m not holding out hope that living in a primary market will push my deliver date up.

I would have kept my 4Runner for "adventure" purposes and bought a Taycan 4S (my Rivian build is ~$100k). I love my 4Runner and the R1T is the only thing I can really see sacrificing it for.

I agree, at the very least it will keep me from obsessing over when I may expect mine to arrive. I'd rather have a range than bombarding the forums/reddit looking at who is getting theirs and their numbers, etc.

I mean, I didn’t get my configuration in until late summer/early fall 2021, so I wouldn’t read into it too much at all. Only advantage I have is living so close to a service center that maaaaaybe I’ll see it sometime in 2023.

Agreed. I’d also rather have a truck that is well tested, debugged, and whose quality has been assured than something that is rushed as a panic to keep up short term appearances.
