Love the write up!
The only thing attracting me away from a Gen1 is the cameras, new hazard warning lights, and Gen2 upgrades that will continue to come for the Gen2, vs slowing down the updates for Gen1. --- what's not fun is the cost difference to move to a Gen 2 quad.
I will wait for Gen3...
To the topic of this forum:
- I too wonder if I should switch to an R2
- I saw the initial R2 last year, and the frunk may not fit a bag of golf clubs...the R1's can sometimes fit two, pending the sizes of the golf bags.

Jan 2023 original delivery date, but got it in Feb due to not being in town in Jan with a 2023 model R1S build with a vin # in the 500’s… still no email
Looking forward to what your experience of the mileage impact is with those tires.
I did notice the R3X has Continental’s on them, which I found interesting!
Thank you so much!
very helpful!

Hope this thread keeps maturing for the 22” tire options!
Are there warranty issues with Rivian for any of the tire options?
I am leaning towards the Continentals but read it did not have the same speed ratings as the Pirelli’s.
Wasn’t expecting this pic to show so nicely…I was putting around at a local practice green and took this shot as the sun was settin …. Thought I would share it —- it is picking up the fall/winter color tones…
