Thanks all. I have been speaking to the landlord and he seems to be trying to troubleshoot but don’t think he found the setting to change to any ev. Is it in an app?
Hello my home has water damage and I am in a rental with a tesla level 2 charger. I have tried both this http://www.umc-j1772.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=99 and this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C7MN8LZ2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details and both result in 'waiting on...

Got a message (without me having to ask first) that it was ready FRIDAY 6/7/24. Finally was able to arrange to get it today. They left car plugged and charging (so that was nice). I asked the service people basically what happened and what are they doing to make sure it doesn't...
lastest update:
6/3 they explained they ordered the restrain control module (set to arrive 3/5 and install on 3/6). I stopped getting updates again so asked if this happened. 6/6 they confirmed the part arrived and they would try to install today 6/7 but it might be Monday. ETA has moved from...
Latest update… they told me on 3/29 they would update me the next day. But they didn’t so I had to track them down again today. Person I spoke to read me notes that basically said they are looking at it. And they would talk with technicians that are working on it. At the end of the day I got...
Just to update my sitch.... the servce mgr said he would call me but didn't. However I did get a text through the app saying they are still diagnosing and will update me today (maybe they are doing this vs calling). I am a lot less frustrated now that I have a rental to drive.

Dunno about Hummer. But have heard horror stories about Cadillac Lyriq's and the service experience. I followed closely for while when I was considering.
A lot of noises and clicks but from test driving and everything, I hear from others, that is all normal. I do not believe anything has changed over the life of the driving it with suspension.
One thing that really sucks is the rental car experience. They just make the reservation and you have to get it. It never fails to take more than 1 hour. Today was no exception.
In the rare case other car companies run out of loaners… they grab the car for you. They

For whatever it is worth… my wife’s Honda battery kicked the bucket on holiday and had no such issues. It was able to jump but then died even after running for 40 minutes. Fired every warning light possible. Gwinnet place Honda had it resolved that day. I am not saying they are totally...
Basically agree with you here. But still some of this is kind of a bait and switch. 2 loaners for all of Atlanta. Then you don’t really provide a loaner. roadside assistance… well sort of… if you have a lot of time and patience. The service person I spoke to told me they would at least look at...
Yes issue occurred on Memorial Day. My biggest frustration is not that it wasn’t remedied in 24 hours. For all I know, a part is needed that takes 2 weeks or more to even get. But then again I know nothing at this point.
My frustration is that no one can give me a straight answer. If they told...
Yep. As an owner and stockholder and someone that loves driving it… I really want them to succeed. But now I feel bad for ever recommending it. I really wonder if i am an outlier. I have never taken it off-road and treat her like a princess. They either need to get much better and making and...
Short answer no
They “hope to” look at it sometime tomorrow. But I cannot get anyone to commit to anything. Got a lot of sob stories. People I spoke to couldn’t be nicer… but they are really struggling with everything. They couldn’t even get in touch with the first tow company… who showed more...
Not sure if I should count myself as lucky or unlucky … but I am almost 4K miles and have never had a major issue. Whenever anyone asks if I like it or would I recommend, I enthusiastically tell them yes. Henceforth I can no longer do so until Rivian gets their act together.
My R1S decided to...
