Android user here. Got the notification Rivian was running a promo with the new assistant for two months free of Connect+. Tried the setup process multiple times. Could not get inbound text messages to work.
Did not find the assistant useful nor an improvement to my existing workflows in the...
Incredibly questionable design decisions. I would love to hear from Rivian about these choices because I struggle believing these are the right tradeoffs even for cost reduction purposes.
This has happened to me since purchase. It was really bad in year 1 & 2 and rarely occurs now, but I've never had a real alarm - they have all been phantom notifications.
This thread saved me today. Was frustratingly trying to find the right t-bolt to buy and ended up buying on the rhino rack parts in the OP - thank you!
Mine read 94% at the time. I'm curious what it says when they expose it again.
I assume this previous number was a percentage of total pack size including buffer? I have a feeling they will calculate it with the smaller denominator in whatever they expose to all customers...

I personally think its worth investing in real rock sliders over basic running boards. Especially considering you can use kneel mode if it's just about getting in/out.
I've been using the...
What I don't use:
- Highway assist. I hate the way it drives - jerky and less efficient than a human.
- Camp speaker. Sold and replaced with 3DP drawer; useless junk.
- Connect+ features. Not worth the subscription.
- Rally, drift, and soft sand drive modes. When off road, I am usually in all...
I just accept pinstripes. Purchased a limestone truck thinking it would hide them the most and has done a pretty good job!
In terms of real (not cosmetic) damage the megawatt sliders and the reinforced underbody shield are all I've needed.
With the exception of the tree I stupidly backed into...
I was so bought in on Scout when they were originally announced and have lost all interest after they've leaned into prioritizing the Harvester models.
Does anyone know how this actually works? There's been a longstanding Gen1 issue where temperature control is completely wrong when in recirculation mode and curious if this address that problem.
