I checked the Chase app and all you can do there is get a quote to buy out the vehicle early. You’re probably going to need to talk to them about early termination since they actually own the vehicle. Pretty sure they won’t be very helpful.
My hope would be that Rivian has some kind of deal to...
I see the confusion. If "Adjusted Lease Balance" is the balance owed through the end of the lease then this may be a way out since the "Vehicle's Fair Market Value" has to be way more than zero. I highly doubt it though, this would make it way too easy to get out of the lease. Bottom line is...
I could be wrong but there's no "penalty", you will just need to make all of the payments as if you kept the R1 through lease end. At least that's how it worked for the vehicles I've leased in the past (BMW, Audi, Nissan).
Please post follow up here when you find out. I'm in a similar...
Totally agree, we almost never use our Model Y's frunk. Too small and yeah it feels like you're going to dent the hood with your hands when you close it. Not sure who designed that part of the vehicle. Our R1S frunk gets used daily.
We're almost at the 2 year mark with our R1S. Rarely used the frunk for the first year. I started using it when I realized that it's easier to access where I park at work (I back in to the stall). Stalls are tight so not needing to open the back door or rear lift gate makes the frunk a no...
There are a couple of AT options for the 21’s now? I’ve been waiting but stopped looking months ago. Do you have manufacturer/models?
I was going to do the same as you and buy 20’s then garage the 21’s but I’m leasing with only a little over a year left so that’s not the best financial option...
Same question here. I'm thinking about getting aftermarket 20's for my R1S and it'd help if those will fit on the R2. Those 21's suck, I think there might be 2 or 3 options for replacement now and they're not cheap. I'm leasing my R1S so I'll have to put the 21's back on when I return it so I...
Thinking about buying aftermarket wheels for our R1S. It’s a lease so I’ll be returning the R1S in a little over a year. Hoping to get our our R2 in early 2027 and wondering if the aftermarket wheels from the R1S will fit.
Updated the Rivian, phone and watch. Rivian app automatically installed on the watch. Only screen I get says "Sign in to the Rivian mobile app." Signed out of app, signed back in, deleted app, reinstalled and signed back in ..... same error. Tried sitting in the R1S, no difference. Anyone...
Same here, thought we were stuck with stock Pirelli's or Defender's. At least we have one AT option now. Yokohama is a decent brand too. Thanks for the info!!
Thanks for posting this. May end up saving one of us later.
Kinda related, we had an eTron before our R1S. Handle got stuck once and Audi has a similar release tab. It literally pulled out just like in your case. When I checked on line later found out that was a common thing for eTrons...
Ditto. If I could, I'd dump the stock 21's because of the lack of tire choices. I'm on a lease so not going to bother. Going to Hyperdip the wheels in Piano Black and live with them for the next 2 years...
Thanks for asking the group. That shows forward thinking for your business.
I think OP wants tire options. And from what I've read there's only the two options Eeyore mentioned. I have the 21's as well and regret not getting the 20's. I'm leasing our R1S so doubt I'd swap wheels/tires.
Our 1 year old Model Y has those stock. I don't care for them. Visor comes off too easily so just trying to put the visor down dislodges it and the visor swings out a little and you gotta stick it back on. At least that's how the stock Tesla one works.
Thanks! I'm looking for something for the 2nd row seat backs. Might pick one of these mats up, cut it to size and figure some way to fasten it to the seat back.
If it works I'm going to work on the tailgate too. That flap that folds down when you open the tailgate is tough to protect. It takes...
