Sadly for my upcoming 6 trips to Mammoth this ski season, I will leave the Rivian at home and drive my GMC. It was just too much of a headache last year to deal with the lack of charging. I keep checking every month to see if the Tesla station gets retrofitted to support CCS charging.

I’m typically pretty conservative when adding options. However, this time went with two upgrades, Forest Edge and Black 20s …. No regrets. Love it!

The issue is not getting to Mammoth, it is CCS charging in Mammoth. No public chargers. So depending how long you are in Mammoth…you may have to drive to Bishop for charge. Or stay at a hotel…Westin that offers charging to their guests. Not open to the public. Plan to Charge to 100% in Bishop...
