I didn't change anything, since I'm in the same boat as you - my delivery time is late 2023, so I saw no reason to panic. I hoped they would make it right, and I'm very pleased with how they did it.
I don't think there is any real competition for my needs, and I have a perfectly good Lexus right...
So not to beat a dead horse here... but the big Cybertruck update we were waiting for today was:
"Awesome!" ???
Wow, boy look at the egg on my face....
There is another big glaring hole in all the "robotaxi" plans that I've seen. Where are they going to put them, and who's going to clean them?
Uber says half their costs are to pay the drivers, but the drivers also store and clean their own cars. So to replace them, Uber will need real estate...
Not against Tesla. I think it's a good company. But Elon is a con man. Sorry, but history backs me up. Tesla will do fine, probably better, once he's gone.
I'm just looking at history. This fits the track record of the semi, Solar City, the Vegas Loop, Starship, and countless other broken promises.
But sure, this time will be different.
Yes, but they haven't visibly taken any steps between those things yet. "Supply Chain issues" is a cop out when you don't even have a pre-production truck.
It was supposed to be in production two years ago. When the very first Rivian prototypes were ready, they ran them across South America. Thus far, we have seen no demo of the CT beyond driving fans around on the street at the debut.
If this is a real truck what ON EARTH are they doing? No...
Oh The Street is always click-bait, for sure. But there will still never be a Cybertruck. Tesla just reported record sales of their other cars - so what part of the CT is delayed? How can they build all their other cars?
It's all bullshit.

Tesla's Cybertruck May Not Actually Happen
Has Elon Musk been trolling everyone when it comes to his company's odd-looking take on an electric vehicle (EV) truck?
Tesla's TSLA Cybertruck has always seemed like a bit of a goof and Tesla CEO Elon...
One second…
????????????????
To lie under oath? Indeed. This has been well documented. To make false claims about Vegas Loop’s speed and capacity? Also true. To sell a fantastically fictional yarn about colonizing Mars by 2030? Check.
There are scores of (real!) scientists on YouTube who can...
No, but they're massive - far more massive than building out charging stations. And if you're just operating a fleet van service, well, that already exists, so it's going to have to be way cheaper than a fleet of drivers to make any sense, to cover the additional infrastructure. But yes, I agree...
