Our super off peak window is only six hours and we don’t have a fast charger. At eleven miles added per hour we can only add about 20% during optimal hours, so we charge whenever we fall under 50%. As another poster opined, always be charging.

I live in SoCal and with a SDG&E plan devised for EVs I pay about 15 cents per KWh during super off-peak hours. If believe most counties offer a similar plan.
