If the clicking is something you hear when starting/stopping and under 15-20 mph, it could be related to the below. I've had my RIS for 2+ years, and it's been there from the beginning, and I was told early on that it was a known issue, but they didn't have a fix for it at the time. Also was...
I'm in the same boat and need to get a new set of tires this season, and I'm so torn.
Talking to Rivian (and I do have an appt at Denver SC in Dec) - a set of OEM 20s are $2100...which is kinda ridiculous!
I definitely want ATs and from what I've read thus far, the Toyo Open Country A/T are...
Yup, agreed. Great post. I've been a believer for 5 years and even more so now...(I've had my R1S for 1.5 years and 15,937 blissful miles). I feel for those owners that have had issues, and have spent more time in SC than out enjoying it. I assume that it's a very small percentage.
And on...
Yeah...the rear wiper design is not a good one....just spent a bunch of time trying to figure it out. This post helped. Front wipers...a piece of cake to change.
Denver SC is awesome! Technicians/service advisors, etc are all top notch - a couple of them were at Telsa previously. They love chatting it up about anything, and like to hear feedback.
In 7 months of ownership (R1S), I've done some very minor things, and just 2 weeks ago did a tire...
First of all...congrats on getting your Truck, very exciting! I just happened to be perusing the forum and saw ur post just now. I have an R1S (very happy owner after 3 months of ownership). I have approx 1,500 miles thus far, and yes, I do notice the clicking sound you are referring to...
I get how that is super frustrating. Are you in the Boulder/Louisville area? If you haven't yet been able to poke around in an R1S, I'm happy to oblige! Just let me know.
Wow...yeah, I have VIN 465...(took delivery 3 weeks ago) and didn't have anything near this many issues. I'm sure they will do what they can to fix them. My experience talking to service thus far has been beyond stellar.
The SUV overall is amazing, no doubt - and people are just blown away...
From the minute I got the 8 step to purchase, it went so fast until I took delivery (literally a week). There was no way I could do the financing that quickly, and I wasn't about to delay anything, which is why I decided to initially take the Rivian financing.
My app to pre-approval went quickly, but overall it still took time because I had to keep following up...whole process more than a couple week.
But what I did was initially go thru Rivian Financial (5.39%), which made my overall buying experience the easiest thing I've ever been thru. And...
I was finally able to get my loan funded w/ Parsons - and yes, it took a little bit of work but it happened. They are nice people, but don't seem overly motivated - probably does have a lot to do with the overload of loan requests as they are the best rate that I've seen. I locked in at...
