I second UnsungZero's comment. I recommend The Count start using a battery tender/desulfator now to increase the odds of surviving 32 days without a dead battery.

You don't specifically say it in your post, so for clarification, did you press the "Start Charging" button in the Tesla app after selecting the station, and before plugging in?
If not, then it defaults to Rivian control.
For what it's worth, I tested sending a planned route from Google Maps, and this is still working. Of course you'll have to start over with your planning.

This is a long shot, but I've had the fob show up with a good battery in the keys page, but the battery was actually almost drained. You may try a battery replacement just to rule that out. I say this is a long shot because if the signal is strong enough for the doors, it should be for the frunk...
