Ordered a max pack quad motor 2/6/21 and am not disappointed enough to cancel my reservation. Just gonna wait and see. My RAM diesel will get me by!

There were 7 Rivian RIT's in the lot. One apparently was in for service as the front air suspension was not working. There was a green one, a black one, 4 that were different shades of gray and a white one. (My order is a MaxPack White with Ocean Coast interior delivery date isn't until 2024)...

Did my first mile drive today and my host told me that they have been specifically told NOT to open the power tonneaus, even to show a customer. Had to go look at another truck w/o a tonneau to see the bed.

I am a quad motor maxpack reservation holder since 2019. My date is now in 2024 sometime. I am excited to see and drive the R1T but I am kind of expecting a sales pitch to change my order away from max pack or the quad motor to dual motor.

I have been seeing the first R1T that I know of in the Olympia/Lacey area the last week or so. Looks like launch green (?) but I haven't seen it parked anywhere yet. Plus I saw a truck with 6 or 7 on it driving on I-5 N around Tacoma on Thursday May 25th. Headed to the center in Bellevue!

The trailer hitch receiver rating is complete different than payload...

The brake lights always come on during deceleration on any EV since you are essentially stopping w/o brakes.

Waiting is good for me, that will give more time for people to post real towing numbers! I want to tow a camper so the more battery the better! My diesel truck will do just fine until the Rivian is ready.

Rivian boosted its IPO to $74.00 per share from $57.00 to $62.00 per share today. This may really change things for my investment money. Not that much has changed since Monday.

If you have ever driven a Rough Terrain Forklift you will know why crab steer is so useful. The bad thing is it tears surfaces up. I would assume there is a built in speed limit on the use.
