I'm a builder and will be using the R1T as my work truck. I also have an Isuzu dump truck for hauling. Sure the bed is bigger on the F-150 but it's still only 5.5' which isn't that great for construction.
The power outlets offered by Ford are nice but the concept of powering a construction...
For me a tailgate pad is the way to go for local rides. For road trips when I have a bunch of gear I use a hitch rack to free up bed space. I tried a bed mount rack and thought it was a hassle.
It's interesting to hear people on here question supply chain issues. I feel like their job must not involve ordering anything. I'm a home builder, I've already ordered windows, a garage door and cabinets and am probably two months from having a permit for my next build.
