  1. Comma 4 Four released

Oh my, are you not worried about steering wheel airbag going off in an front collision?
  2. Comma 4 Four released

Hmm, I'm not sure how I can get a route log when the comma doesn't engage. When I double tap the stalk, nothing happens, car just beeps and cancels right away. Sometimes I even get "unknown variant" message. I can give it another try.
  3. Comma 4 Four released

Thanks I'll give that a try when I get some time. On another note, I bought a USB-C right angle adaptor (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V1WHDKL) to make it easier to install the C4 because I had mounted it a little too close to the rear view housing, but t doesn't work. The Comma complains...
  4. Comma 4 Four released

The Comma4 mounting point below the mirror housing partially blocks my view during right hand turns. Since sunnylink provides option for camera offset, I'm wondering if it would be possible to move the comma4 mounting point to the left side of the rearview mirror plastic housing, and also...
  5. Comma 4 Four released

So I just realized from some pictures that there is another port on the side of the Comma4. What is this used for? I have only connected the long cable from the (stock) harness to the port on the back (deep hole). Can I use the side port instead, as it would be easier to remove the comma...
  6. Comma 4 Four released

So I took the plunge and installed the C4 over the weekend (stock harness/mount), and I"m quite surprised at how well it works so far for highway and local roads. I'm not ready to commit to the dev harness just yet. I have yet to get the 8deg angle adaptor, but even without it, seems to...
  7. Comma Extreme Dev Kit NOW AVAILABLE

I am contemplating getting the C4 to use mostly in the R1S, and occasionally on long trips in in my Chrysler Pacifica. I will move the C4 between the cars as needed. I'm okay with the Rivian ACC for long control, so I think I only need stock harness and plan to get the additional harness for...
  8. 12 Volt Demons Caught Up With The Count

Nice, I'll consider switching to these in a couple of years since I just had mine replaced. Is there special installation process need to follow to keep the car from registering faults?
  9. Finished R2 demo test drive? Share your review / impressions

Checked out the R2 in 21" over the weekend. Overall, was a good experience, the drive and handling was smooth and confident. Agree with most of the comments posted.. the rear glass drop down and dual glove boxes, autonomy+ is nice. Prior to the demo drive, I was already mentally...
  10. R1S G1 Highway Assist no longer available after recent 2026.15.0

The issue is resolved for me after I performed the hard reset (left steering wheel button + hazard), then enabling the privacy settings. From my experience, I would suggest, perform hard reset first (RivAw was right, don't waste time with soft reset). Hopefully this clears out whatever stale...
  11. 20" Inch Defender LTX M/S2 or Ion HT - 275/65R20

I've already had majority of the suspension replaced over time (including driveunit, subframe, hubs, shafts, etc.), so it could still be a suspension issue, but the previous Pirelli AT was fine, just noisy. I'll get it checked by service center next time I go in for other things.
  12. 20" Inch Defender LTX M/S2 or Ion HT - 275/65R20

I've had the Michelin (MS2 275/65) for about 15K miles. Good mileage,(2.5m/K), treadwear, and quiet, but I get slight steering wheel shake around 65. Just did RF balance/rotate and but it reduced the shake from above 70 to 65 now which sucks. The latest OTA update seemed to help reduce...
  13. NEW: Knocked out of the Android app

Happening to me as well, tried everything (clear cache/storage/uninstall) except rebooting phone.. Glad I have my key card with me..
  14. R1S Subtrunk Fridge

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I think I have this exact same fridge (23qt., but under different brand name). I was worried about adequate ventilation so I didn't bother to try this. It's wild that it fits so well.
  15. R2 at LA Auto Show 2025 (photos & videos)

Nice photos!.. except for the mis-aligned lift gate
  16. 20" Inch Tire Guide for 33" & 34" options - Choosing the Best 275/60R20 – 275/65R20 Tires

I've had the MS/2 65R20 about 13K miles now, and tread is down to 9 & Mi/kW at 2.50. My previous 21" OEM was at around 2.65 Mi/kW but only lasted 18k miles. The MS/2 been good, but not perfect. Above 65, there is slight steering wheel shake even after road force balance. The tech said...
  17. Weird problem with the two USB-C ports in center compartment for Qi charging pads

The two USB-C ports in the center compartment refuses to work with my Qi charging pads (they power on briefly then shut off, and cycles repeatedly). I've been using the USB-C cable directly for long time before I tried this so I know the ports work. Same issue with 2nd port, which is used...
  18. Recommendations for dashcam

I've been using RedTiger cam for couple months (front & back), and it's decent. The video quality is "ok". I wish there was way to decrease compression level (at expense of needing larger storage). https://www.amazon.com/REDTIGER-Camera-Included-170%C2%B0Wide-Parking/dp/B098WVKF19/
  19. Amazon Music Glitching

Glad it wasn't just me... I decided to try out Amazon Music with their free trial, so the timing is bad. Spotify works perfectly. I'm also very disappointed there isn't any way to navigate my playlists on the screen and select tracks like Spotify and Apple Music. Alexa's voice...
  20. Installed tinted PPF on my sunroof rather than window tint

So just curious, did it help for you? Why are you removing it? I also have a roll of this cheap PPF but haven't installed it yet, and debating whether to do it...
