Regen is "off" in our R1S whenever sending power to the battery would cause it to exceed the requested charge level according to Rivian engineers. In other words, if we leave our house at 80% SOC as programmed, the R1S will quickly tell us "regen is reduced" since we're driving downhill for 15...

Despite not appearing on a CarFax report, this accident/repair will forever be tied to your VIN at Rivian and you can't lie when asked if the vehicle was ever in an accident...
I'm unsure if it correlates with the last update or not, but I too have the perpetually "open window" issue despite recalibration attempts. My SC appointment is next week.
I had a cross bar latch cover not seat down properly, but the bar itself locked into the roof fine. Mobile service fixed the latch. It's my understanding there is an adjustment mechanism in there but I didn't mess with it myself.

I agree with your concerns. The underbody shield is and will be valuable to someone who really wants a quad motor Rivian for non-pavement purposes. However, IMHO you might be better off "downgrading" to a cheaper dual motor Rivian if you have no intentions of seriously off-roading.
