I was going to say the same thing. Infiniti has had steer-by-wire for a long time now (yes, 10 years actually). I believe that model year may have had the option of a connected steering column, so Cybertruck could actually be the first without a traditional steering column there...
oh very nice find! Thanks! Although, since I've ALWAYS had a plate screwed into the front of my cars, I feel like I don't love it, but I really don't mind since it will never come off anyway. Typically I would want it moved to the tow hook area because the place you drill it into isn't sized for...
I agree. Just about any "automatic" vehicle will launch better this way. You'll get almost as quick just flooring it, so it depends on the driver and conditions, too.
I'm guessing Rivian didn't program a Launch Mode in this fashion (unless they are truly doing something different with the...
Similar with my Mach-E GTPE. If you hold the brakes hard, it will have a slight delay as the electronics work themselves out (stability and brake auto-hold). But if you hold the brake slightly -- just enough to hold the car -- and floor it, you will get a MUCH better launch and I've seen my...
Ok, so I finally made it to the end...for now...page 21, after 2 or 3 days of reading. Mostly great info and conversation.
I have a couple of questions on the two quotes above which sound contradictory to other quotes in this thread about locked versus open, etc.
Are you saying (RIP) that in...
I'm exactly the opposite. I never buy red vehicles, but this is now the color I want. :) I love that it's not pure/deep "red." That blue has also grown on me, too though.
Hi All!
My friend recently took delivery of his R1T...while I wait for 2023 to take delivery of my R1S. :) Anyway, there's a track day coming up that I plan on attending and wanted to raise awareness and see if anyone in the region was planning on going. I went to the first one last year a week...
Yup, I and many others, had this type of issue in the Mach-E. I received software updates, but mine still had a faulty battery control module (to allow for charging the 12V from the HV battery) that needed to be replaced. All has been excellent since then! These 12Vs are sitting for far too long...
