Confirmed: No need to be connected via WIFI. Vehicle might need a few days(could be up to 6) after delivery before update will show available to install.

Seems like you might have to have the vehicle connect to WIFI to do this current update?

They really didn't have to honor the old price of the vehicles at all. So getting the vehicle with just the large pack and quad motors at the original price but having to pay a little more for the options still seems pretty good to me...
