Take it back and make them drive it with you on highway speeds. After they "fixed" it, the same issue came back and I haven't been driving the truck on long distances. It now also pulls to the right if I just let the wheel go.
I have noticed that Rivian service is very bad with quality control...
@CarMAN3 you should still ask them to replace the adhesive on the driver side, if it is not giving you the problem right now, it will at some point. I had the same issue, only on one side and after a couple of long trips, the driver's side started to give issues.
Alright, I received my car from service yesterday. They stated that the A-pillar panel cover was fixed, they stated that some vehicles come with an adhesive that has some felt or fabric which causes the issues with the pilar coming off. They replaced the adhesive with one that doesn't have the...
Yes, it is quite annoying, my wife's old Xterra had this noise, but it was a 2004 suv with the door trim seals missing. But a new car is definitely not pleasant.
My benchmark is a 2019 S60 or XC90, the most quiet and relaxing drive you could ever have.
I noticed that someone did this on the thread I posted above, I'm going to try it tomorrow and see if taping the windows behind the side view mirrors make a difference.
I didn't notice this thread before posting this, seems like there are a lot of folks with the same issue. I'll be taking my truck for service soon.

I've been driving my R1T on long distance trips recently and I've been noticing a loud noise inside the cabin when going above 65mph on the freeway.
I've already taken the truck for a repair since one of the piano trim pieces that covers the joint between the passenger window and the small...
I did drive on a dirt trail and did some donuts but nothing that would cover it fully in mud, I washed the truck right away, the entire underbody and around the wheels. I agree it's probably about time for a rotation and balance. Thanks!
Hi All!
I wanted to ask fellow R1T owners that have hit 5kmi on their truck if your steering wheel shakes when you hit speeds of 65mph or above, if you have, have you taken it for alignment at any tire shop that does alignment and balancing, or have you taken it to a service center?
Cheers...
UPDATE!
The A/C stopped working again, took it to the service center and they found a leak. It is fixed but just wanted to share if in case someone else encounters the issue with A/C not blowing cold, especially on hot days with 70 to 100 percent charge.
Hey everyone! For those interested this is the summary of the problem.
------------------
Cause: - Confirmed condition of HVAC not blowing cold. Performed evacuate and vacuum test of the ACsystem. Passed test. Prior to filling with refrigerant, the machine performed a high pressure test.Upon...
Yes, it is worst since the air is distributed, besides the fact the weather feels like summer time, it's simply not providing cool air. I have a 91 bmw E30 and that thing blows ice cold, I wonder if electric cars use freon and maybe it is missing. Haven't heard from support team, hopefully I...
@godfodder0901 thanks! I do have it activated, I had a support call and they suggested to reset the car, but still same issue. They will submit a ticket to the tech team and will get back within 24 to 48 hours.
I recently received my R1T, it has been sunny here in California and the cabin gets quite hot when the vehicle is parked. My experience with my Tacoma truck which also had a black interior was amazing since I pushed the ac to lowest and it would cool the cabin in minutes. Unfortunately this is...
