If you are happy with current gen 2 functionality, get the LE R2. If you are hoping for any major improvements, wait for gen 3 with LiDAR.
Love my LE R1S, but it sucked when they surprise released gen 2 a year later and stopped all development on driver+ after promising much more functionality...

The car is still at service but they said it was due to a faulty CGM (central gateway module) and instrument panel harness. They are replacing those so hopefully that fixes the issue.
Noticed whenever I put down third row seats it leaves this indent. I've been keeping them up to avoid making it permanent. When I manually push the buckles down, one stays in place and the other pops up, thus inevitably leaving the mark. Is this normal or can it be fixed?
I was also having this issue on my new R1S 7XXX vin. The warning appears intermittently and I was able to fast charge two times when it wasn't there. Dropped off at service 2 weeks ago to address this and a couple other issues, zero updates so far. Frustrating to not be able use an 80k new car...
Big Rivian fan and felt confident buying one based on all the positive reviews. Finally got my R1S last month and surprised at the problems piling up. Things that should have been caught pre-delivery like:

My theory is vehicles that are being shipped or already at service centers when the original order is cancelled are shown on a regional shop, while vehicles still at the factory are shown on all shops.

FYI asked my guide and my R1S from shop this week is still at factory, expected delivery 4-6 weeks. VIN 76XX. Last month's shop seemed more hyperlocal with R1S already at service centers and ready for immediate pickup.
