Customer service told me that demo drives will start s00n, and that reservation holders will be invited to book their demo drive first.

This is right, when I visit my in-laws in Florida the only place to plug in my Tesla is outside. We have to strategically place the cable along the house to keep it in the shade. If it sits in the sun and heats up the car thinks there is a issue and drops the charging speed.
