Fantastic work on the renders! I could see some great use cases for the R1S with something like this, but more in terms of fully removable tops like the Jeep Wrangler. Could have soft/hard tops, campers, etc.

Couldn't they just have used the R1T or R1S body for more accurate testing? They don't seem to be shy about showing them off.

They better shrink that battery for the R1S then, because what's the point of all that range for longer trips if you have no space for bags, luggage, etc. The more I think about it the more I think it's only going to be available for the R1T.

This image shows just how large that battery is. It takes up a big chunk of the bed. Where would they fit it on the R1S?

I'm sure in the next 2-3 years we're going to see the market flooded with electric pickup trucks from all of the traditional OEMs. I think at that point they will all be playing catchup to Rivian.

Hopefully it's not 10 years of development on the Rally version! Can't wait for more tho they will probably be doing into defcon 5 shutdown because of this 'leak' ..thanks guys lol

I'd be worried about the battery doing this but it's good to know it's possible (at least in theory).

The specs are impressive but how many buyers will actually use the R1T to its full capabilities gotta wonder? I think the question of price will be whether there is a big enough market for a high tech luxury pickup and whether electrification will appeal to or at least not turn off traditional...
