Same here. Traded my '22 R1T for a Silverado EV Trail Boss. Favorite vehicle so far. I loved my Rivian but like the OP got tired of the noises, clanks, HVAC floods and having to wait 2 months for service. This forum has completely turned south over the past 3 years with haters. Be happy...
I have a 2022 R1T. VIN in 7000s. Every now and then I notice a vinegar / mildew smell when I get in my R1T. It comes and goes in both the winter and summer. I've blamed the washer fluid (since I use that a lot in winter) until I started see these posts about the drain.
I haven't noticed...
I too am in Central Oregon and I just discovered the C3X. I'm dying to know how you like it. Thinking of ordering one. (I come from years of a MX with autopilot and miss not being able to use Driver+ in our area)
I have a 2022 R1T and have had three Model Xs over 7 years. Rivians's software is real good, but not quite a polished as Tesla. The bird's eye view is amazing and I use it all the time. There are two differences I notice most. 1) Build quality. Shutting the door on a Rivian sounds like a...
I don't really use them for changing lanes - don't find them to be much help. But when sitting at a light, waiting to make a right turn, it's a nice check for bikes and pedestrians coming up on the right-rear.
I've had a few Enders, currently have two MK3+, and two weeks ago I bought a Bambu P1S with AMS. I was so impressed I bought a Bambu A1 mini with AMS lite a couple days later. I've been huge Prusa fan for years but the Bambu printers blow me away. Speed, quality, "things just print" and...
I agree. I don't understand the interest in percent. A person needs to know the range, and then calc the miles, to know if I can get from point A to point B. Can I drive from Denver to Colorado Springs with 25%? Why not just show you the miles?
However, percent is useful enroute AND there's...
In the end, I love it. I've had several compliments and it's so easy to keep clean - no water spots. I guess it just took time to get over the shock of it not being what I 'thought' it would look like. Thanks all!
This is a little delayed. Thanks for everyone's comments. It's started to grow on me. I also went by the SC and took some comp pics. In addition to the stealth, they wrapped the piano black on the bumper with a stealth that had a slight texture (not sure the term for that).
The owner is a great guy, real skilled, high quality shop and very popular here. This is the 5th wrap he's done for me. He previewed it by taking a large piece, sprayed water on the hood and pressed the wrap to it and smoothed it out. He did the same with when I did the white. Of course, no...
I do have to say, matte doesn't show water spots. Unlike my other cars, I rarely dried after a quick car wash. In Colorado we often get 5 min rain showers in the afternoon so spotless was nice.
I. can be odd about some details and this is the type thing I'd notice every time I approach the truck. I hope I'll be ok with waiting for the next rewrap appt instead of taking it off myself beforehand.
*IF* I decide to re-wrap, does anyone know if it's ok to remove it yourself or leave that...
You make a great point, something I didn't consider. Matte on white only changes the finish. Matte on green changes the color too. The shop previewed a large slab of matte on the hood but I didn't tune into the color change. Arg.
