I have my Rivian R1T gen 1 (received March '22) for this exact issue. Had an alignment issue early on that they were able to fix. Recently I swapped my Scorpion AT tires to BFGoodrich KO3's and took it in for another alignment. Picked it up, and it was terrible. Pulling hard to the right...
I am very interested in these tires... wish they'd come in our exact tire size so I can keep my 20' rims. I'm very curious if the efficiency is similar to the OEM Pirelli AT's
This thread has been super interesting. I am in the debating category. Do I wait for the Toyo Open Country AT3 EV? Or pull the trigger on these Nitto's. I have over 25K miles on AT OEM Pirelli's, not sure why everyone complains of noise? Mine are likely quieter than when I got the truck with...
When you click the truck icon on the bottom it used to show 3 tabs on the side. One with frunk open, one for lights and one for odometer and trip. I no longer see that anywhere
I have had this same message for over 6 months. I’ve had a call with Rivian who had me reset the software and it went away. It did come back after that and after the last software update it disappeared and hasn’t been back…..UNTIL yesterday!
I even had a service appointment for the recall and...
Glad that helped you out! Apparently it’s a little different than most Tesla chargers that don’t have that last connection piece. I was told it has been forgotten a few diff times. Very easy fix once you know what the issue is.
These are good points! I have the Rivian charger on a 60amp circuit #6 wire and I’ve seen around 11.1 kw charge rate. I went from around 29%~70% in little less than 4hrs I believe. Not bad at all!
So the communication cable allows the wall charger to communicate with the trucks on board charger. Without it attached it will not charge the vehicle.
Update: I removed the faceplate and found a connection cable had not been connected! Haha!! The Rivian support said this has happened various times now. I since plugged it in and it connected to my Rivian and was ready to charge. If anyone else comes across this issue, make sure to check for...
they said no special characters in network name. Nothing about password. I haven’t tried switching any settings in my wifi settings. Pretty frustrating that it can’t just be a seem less process like any other product you buy and connect to wifi/phone. For how much it all costs it leaves one...
Has anyone else experienced an issue with the Rivian wall charger? I went through the Rivian qmerit electrical install process, used a “Rivian approved” licensed electrician. Everything seemed great…..
But I can’t connect. I open the app and go through the process by resetting the breaker etc...
