I've had my R1T since July 2022, I have 95,000 miles on my truck now. I use it for home projects, some light towing a few times, several off-road trips and lots of daily miles. The concerns flagged above I have had to repair.
1. 12v battery replaced
2. Rear dampers
I believe the R1 is one of...
Little bit of a different approach and something I planned on trying. Get the benefits of the truck leveling, close to electrical if needed in the bed, plus easy to setup and take out of the bed if you wanted to go wheeling or use the vehicle
Tent Cot
I really love you are trying to do this and make a way to distribute to a wider group. I hope you get enough interest to make it happen and others begin trying to repair, modify, and work on these vehicles more and more
I purchased mine off of tire rack. Warranty for puncture is covered for 12 months and is super easy to claim as well. I go tirerack for all of my tire purchases and then utilize a mobile tire shop for mounting, balancing, disposal. Super convenient, especially since I work from home when I'm not...
Had these on my truck for about 24k miles so far, very happy with them. They ride really well, last winter they did very well in the snow here in the northeast also. Don't have anything negative to say about them. Rain, snow, dry aggressive handling is all there
This is for sure an issue with the Rivian. My truck is a little over 3 years now, first year and a half, no issues with charging speed for 2 summers charing outside. Then this last year within 45 minutes or so of charging I get that alert. Have charged 2 other EV's on my charger and no issues...
going to bump a very old thread and say thanks for posting this information. my tonneau cover has been working well since delivery in 2022 but just recently it got out of whack with where the open and closed limits were. It would try to over extend at the tailgate side and then when opening it...
I just got word from the service center that both of my rear dampers are leaking and they are getting replaced as well. Hearing this is more and more of a common issue. Not a cheap fix for sure
83,000 miles for me, vin 093XX, only had minor issues at the service center pretty much. I did have 2 of my calipers replaced under warranty and a rear air strut replaced. Currently have an appointment scheduled to diagnose a rotational squealing sound coming from the front driver side. Possible...
Latros is talking about using the delta pro 3, ratchickens is talking about the delta pro ultra, that’s why
I have the pro ultra as well and can confirm as well that his comments are correct for the function of that unit.
that compact reel system is very slick, do you have any photos of your setup mounted in the R1T? Looking at the page I only see it sitting on the tonneau cover
I don't get it on L3 chargers but regularly get it on my home charger when it’s above about 55*. Didn’t happen my first year of ownership though, only started in the second, maybe I’ll try cleaning the pins.
Car and driver did a driver assistance test with all the major manufacturers a few years ago and they added Comma AI in the test pool and that system ranked in the top 3 I believe in all of the testing.
Understand on the 1800 watts, does the rivian have a way to limit output before its digital breaker trips? I’ve never looked into this on mine before.
