Title pretty much says it all...for the folks here who have managed to initiate (and hopefully complete) a buyback, what was the process?
I've had a recurring suspension issue with my R1T that is about to be the fourth SC trip and loss of vehicle and I'm ready to move on.
How could you not be a fan of cool/cold air blowing out when the UI shows heat? /s
Couldn’t get my truck to blow hot air at my windshield while driving in near white out conditions on Donner Summit today. Sure, it feels wonderfully rooted when driving in the snow, but that whole being able to...
For the most part, I’m easy like a Sunday morning, but I’d:
Like to have the floor vents automatically actuated when the seat ventilation is turned on since the efficacy of the seat vents is based on those floor vents.
LOVE to have street names introduced back into the mini map on the left...
They offered Lyft credits since they’re hoping it’s only one day turnaround. I’ll take the Lyft home and enjoy the weather on the bike. If I had no other transportation option, I’d request a rental, but I’m more than happy with this outcome.
Quick update on my experience:
Just had Safelite install my glass 2 hours ago. Process was quick and easy, the glass is aftermarket glass, but since the OEM glass doesn’t seem to be particularly great, I’m fine with that. Going out of pocket with the aforementioned $50 off and that came to $736...
My deductible is $1,000. With the original quote I got being $562, I was going out-of-pocket. Safelite is $704, so will still most likely go out of pocket.
I’d reach out and have them confirm that is the *total* cost, it looks like it’s just for the windshield.
I had the opposite experience—I booked my appointment and asked for the estimate on the cost, and I got an email that said $561. A couple of days ago, I get the work order to sign and it’s...
Folks look for flat tires, better option is to pull the rubber strip off their windshield wipers—they never figure this out until bad weather hits.
Pretty sure with that super wiper on the incElCamino, that’s also a hefty cost to replace.
Well, I got farther than that, and it only got worse. The app says three month free trial, and then the billing page says 2 months free trial.
Bait and switch company can eat the whole bag of dicks.
I’ll have to check. I have a small portable air compressor I keep in my motorcycle tail pack for doing all of our two wheeled vehicles, so never tried the truck on on bikes. I’ll check with the presta adapter and get back to you.
I bought a new bike today, was super stoked to put it in the rack and bring it home and then realized that it’s exactly 2” too long for the rooftop rack.
SO…I’m selling the rooftop rack. It’s the Yakima one from the gear shop (rack only, I’m keeping my cross bars). Used exactly once (with my...
My R1T was damaged in a minor fender bender. I got rear ended 2 cars back, both of the other cars were totaled, but because of the height of the truck, the car that hit me mostly slid under me. I had damage on my bumper, sensors, lower rear lights, etc.
Took it to our local (San Jose, CA)...
When I open mine, I push down on the center of each slat as it makes its way under the panel by the window, I’ve found that that’s where the clicking usually comes from as they bang into the overhead panel on their way in.
Still crossing my fingers on keeping my OG cover working as it has for...
I've found it also depends on the source. Spotify has the lowest volume level of all sources for me. Tidal is louder, then Amazon, and for the best punch, I ask Alexa to plays songs on Tidal. For some reason, this gives me the best quality and overall volume, even compared to native Tidal.
As a motorcyclist, this is the primary reason why I intend to never sit in a CT's blind spot. I don't with most cars as a rule, but I fully expect the CT to be huge threat to riders, especially when Autopilot or FSD are engaged.
