    This is the definition of a shortage - excess demand and not enough supply. Results in price hikes and often subsequent supplier trickle of inventory. Not good for consumers short term or businesses longer term

    No disrespect to OP, but this is either an error in Rivian’s assigning a guide (mixed up R1T order) or missing details. Not worth getting upset about R1S owners cause there is no chance this config is getting made, much less delivered, anytime soon.

    This is noise, not news. Imagine Rivian is actually making a non-LE OC R1S, then imagine they choose to make this one of the first R1S deliveries to a recent customer. Nonsense.
