    Rivian R1T with a camper spotted….

Probably this article? I like this one but I'm not sure about that cantilever. I had a FlipPac on an older Toyota Pickup that was awesome. Queen bed when open, huge, dry, secure shell the rest of the time. It had posts that connected to some pegs which attached to the body structure that took...

Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

Because you iPeople talk about it incessantly. It's almost like your phone manufacturer has created a false barrier in your minds that prevents you from exiting to a better product...

That's funny, I think of "blue bubble people" as actual droids who have are happy to follow the crowd and have never had a unique thought of their own. ;)

    Launch Green questions

This is pretty much my opinion as well. I was a bit late for LG so I tell myself that Limestone is better. Not sure if that's really true or not...

Should I change my configuration to get the power tonneau?

I have the manual cover, use it ~weekly. If I had the choice, I'd take a (high-functioning, not prone to breaking) power cover ONLY because it stores itself. I hate having to find somewhere to put the cover when I have a big load. The gear tunnel works but I keep a fair bit of stuff in there...

Can we stop asking for CarPlay now? "The next generation of Apple CarPlay will take over all of the screens, sensors and gauges in a car..."

No, but they don't have any reason to punish non-iPhone users. THAT is anti-competitive. For a long time I just assumed iPhone cameras are crap because the pics and vids I get from y'all look like they came from a flip-phone in the 90s. And yet, they've actively chosen to keep their walled...

    Cybertruck Thoughts

One could assume that. One could also assume they didn't find 20k people willing to buy the overpriced thing. And further, one could assume they were sick of all the bad press from the early buyers breaking, shooting, and failing to reproduce Musk's antics, not to mention the flippers (that...

    Cybertruck Thoughts

It seems that Tesla hasn't even delivered the 20K foundation series trucks yet. For your viewing pleasure: (The article IS a week old already...) "Tesla has claimed that it currently has annual production capacity to produce 125,000 Cybertrucks per year – a number that wasn’t all that...

Didn't Musk himself say the Clustertruck is the worst product they've made? And that it may bankrupt the company?

My First Time Seeing The Rivian R2 @ Electrify Expo Orlando! Including Pictures!!

Thanks for sharing, OP. 2 thoughts: 1) Does the driver screen say 3.12 m/kWh? That's dreamy... :involve: 2) LOOK AT HOW BIG A BOTTLE FITS IN THE DOOR! Watch out Ford, we're going to win some people back over that WATER BOTTLE HOLDER FIASCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does the R2 have a spare tire?

Doesn't Idaho have sundowner laws for EVs anyway?

This is why I no longer use the Rivian for Long Distance trips.

Yeah. Sounds like OP needs to sell the Rivian and invest in a chauffeur.

Any updated intel of when the Manual Tonneau Cover will be available?

I imagine they are re-re-designing the MT again since they were shipping with very flimsy latches. Many users broke theirs almost immediately. We got our cover in Nov (T was delivered a year ago.) I haven't had a problem with it yet, though I'm definitely taking care when I need to open it /...

    Coastal Goodness Theraputic Drive

The greatest, untold story of the Rivian (T, Limestone, 20s ;) is what you ended with; a bunch of miles travelled in an afternoon with no anxiety and pure pleasure. On Saturday, my wife and I took a short trip up to our camping property to "get outta here". The trip used to take a toll - driving...
