After 2 sets of OEM Scorpions, we went with the RIV OEM Goodyear AT. Great tires. good look, no noise, better efficiency. Rotated every 7500 miles. Last rotation at 21K miles tread was 8/10 . They start with 10/10. yes they are 1" smaller in Dia. or the trucks sits .50" lower, which ever you...
We have a Rivian 22 LE R1T, very early vin. bought it new. We have an EV home charger. Our off peak rates. between 7pm and 2pm, are 3 cents per KW. We are on our 3 set of tires. 1st 2 were OEM scorpions. Liked the look, hated the noise as they wore. Rotated every 7500. Free at Discount tire. 3rd...
I've had this happen in my G1 R1T. I found it only happened 2x and while I was driving on a 2 lane road and had cruse engaged. I found it happened when I was close to the edge of the right hand side of the road and a large mail box was to the side. This is anecdotal and I do not have...
Also to add your weather condition you out lined would not be normal driving conditions. It has not been -20 or below in Chicago since 2019. -27 was the record low in 1985. The 2024 - 2025 season saw only the low temp of approx 25 deg.
I still have my 2022 G1 R1T LE vin <200 and have driven it...
YES, Coming up on 4yrs in October. 10/21 delivery, 65K miles. R1T. Great ride.
FYI my son just traded in his 10/21 delivery R1T on a Gen 2 R1S. loved his R1T but now wanted R1S for the additional interior space for their 18mo old son. (profile pic, mine is gray his is blue R1T)
Great write up!
We've had our LE Quad R1T since 10/21 and still best vehicle we've ever owned. Like you there have been a few trips to service. But all have been minor. Interior is still strong and solid. No rattles, exterior looking good and no issues. Just want to add our R1t is such a low VIN...
We have not gone off road in our R1T but, many road trip. Its made the trips less stressful. Never had charger/range anxiety. Well only when using EA chargers. would they work, what KW would I get. calling them to reset as Im freezing, etc... With Tesla opened up. NEVER touch an EA charger. We...
Had a G1 R1S reserved. Drove a few of them before our order was up. Did not feel it was the right vehicle for a 2nd car for wife. Did not even consider an ICE vehicle. She had our R1T for a few months and said "I could never go back to an ICE vehicle". Looked around at the EV mix at that time...
I agree!
Went with GY here also. After 2 sets of the 34 Pirellis, I could not handle the screaming sisters any longer. It was night and day when I drove away with them on. Also, had a loaner R1S recently with 34 Pirellis, It was so LOUD it reinforced my choice in tires. As stated the 33 vs 34...
Happen to me recently. 1st time ever in 3+years of ownership. Like others on here, it's a WTF moment. You do a quick assessment, vehicle still going, am I ok, etc.. then all comes back on and you continue on.
I went through 2 sets of 20" OEM Pirelli 275/65R20 tires currently 51K miles on R1T. 1st set replaced at 18K. SO loud. 2nd set replaced recently. Again, SO loud. I rotated 2nd set every 7K miles. Got more wear out of them but still loud. Replaced them with RIV OEM Goodyear Territory AT's...
I have the same issue. Changed from 65 to 60 goodyears. I got the sane error message. My R1T is currently in the service center they are working on the issue. IF thy correct the the issue I will update.
I have a G1 R1T 2022 Had since oct 2021. Yes early adopter. Mine has done the “break free “ from the beginning. Coming up on 50k mileage, has not changed, no wear on any parts. Its just everything releasing at once, just before moving in reverse.
