Yes, at one time when Rivian Assistant rolled out Rivian had told me they were working on a few limited version. To my knowledge, that’s still planned but super low priority.

I did a first video which ended up being invalidated. I originally had the vehicles heat soaked and a bunch of people told me that it was unrealistic as most people would have a car that was already cooled from driving before leaving their pet in it. I re-recorded the whole thing to be more...

I let the vehicles precool for 30 minutes, then I put the thermometers in the vehicle. The thermometers were sitting in my garage prior to this.

More recently, a lot of city driving so max of 55 mph with some highway around 70-75 mph. I am on 20s for what it's worth.

Efficiency took a hit today with over 105ºF weather and the HVAC running hard but this is me thus far.

When I say Rivian hasn’t done anything wrong, I mean that they followed what the EPA legally allows. What they legally allow is very flawed.

Maybe one day it’ll replace my real job but for now, it’s a fun time to write and talk about this passion!

I may be a tad biased 😅 but I think I’m trying to overlooking the one shortcoming for the many positives R2 offers. But it’s also one person’s opinion.

The thing is Rivian hasn’t done anything wrong. We can sit here all day and agree the numbers don’t match but neither Rivian nor the EPA broke any rules. The EPA tests allow way too much flexibility in what can be reported. The whole system is broken and Rivian isn’t the first to abuse it.

Yes! Kyle should have a video on that soon, I don't recall but MYP did great from 0-60 and then R2 kicked butt the rest of the way defeating the Model Y.
