Hi, also in AZ and curious how long I’ll be waiting. What do you mean by your temp plate? Is that different than the original temp tags? Did you have to nudge rivian at all to get stuff done?
Thanks,
Selling Rivian wall charger in unopened package. Decided to go with a different EVSE charger as I get a rebate through my electric company. Just received the wall charger yesterday.
$600. Local pickup in AZ or I will ship at buyers expense.
Bummer! Hope the repair is quick!
Similar thing happened to me on my first mile drive. The rivian employee showed us the highest suspension setting while in the driveway. Then we went to test drive and it wouldn’t lower due to compressor overheating. It restricted the speed to 25mph (or...
I think this is accurate. If the vehicle is already built, time from seeing a vehicle ID to VIN can be very quick. If it’s in production (or slated for production) it can take a while. I’ve had a vehicle ID for over 3 weeks and no VIN/8 steps.
Right there with you. Over 3 weeks since PBA and no real updates. I’ve become way more impatient after getting assigned a guide and signing the PBA! Haha
Gotcha. We’ll hopefully there is progress soon. I signed my PBA 3 weeks ago…and still no 8 steps. Although my order date is after yours so I can’t complain.
Checked my account today and noticed I have a VehicleID. Signed the PBA about 2 weeks ago. Does having a VehicleID mean I should expect to see the 8 steps soon? Or does it really not mean much? Worth reaching out to my guide for (haven’t heard anything since signing the PBA)?
Any idea how much faster the rivian home charger is than just using the 14-50 NEMA mobile charger? I’ve always used the 14-50 with my model Y and is more than fast enough since I just charge overnight.
Haha. That’s funny…I have the exact same MYP (MSM, white int, tow). I just signed my PBA, but not sure how long it will take to get delivery. $70k + sales tax savings sounds good to me! Hopefully I get a similar amount when it comes time. Enjoy your new truck!
