Go with the Michelins but get the 116s as you tow. I switched to these and live in PDX too. They work great on dry wet and snowy conditions up in the mountains. Very smooth and quiet tire with a long warranty. You will enjoy them.
I am looking for a great all season tire that is also really reliable in all conditions especially wintery conditions. I live in the NW and drive up to the mountains to snowboard a lot over the winter.
I understand a dedicated winter tire would be the ideal choice but I would have to find some...
Both of these for Gen 1 owners
How about the fix for the wireless phone charger RJ promised us over a year ago?
And a real fix for the AC compressor?
Thank you for reaching out for questions.
Has anyone been able to find any snow to try these out on?
I need a good tire (22 wheel) to drive back and forth to the mountains as well as year round comfort. Highway driving mainly to the ski resorts. I am deciding between the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 and the Bridgestone Dueler AT unless...
I appreciate all your advice and will buy some dedicated winter tires. That’s what I was worried about with sliding on ice going downhill.
I looked earlier this winter for Nokian tires but they’re sold out everywhere. I will now look for some Michelin X Snow/Ice tires and it seems they’re...
I have a Launch Edition Quad Motor.
So are you saying the stock Pirellis don’t cut it? That’s what I’m also wondering if I will need to get dedicated winter tires or if I could get by with the stock all season Pirellis.
I have 22s with stock tires on my R1S. I have lots of experience driving in the mountains with lots of snow. However, I haven’t driven the R1S in the mountains yet. It’s been snowing and snowing up in the mountains and I would love to take it up there. Can anyone give me some expectations of...
@LinerX - I don't believe any of us prefer the flap portion (to go over the tailgate) of the rear cargo mat.
And hopefully you could make the pieces interlock together. Maybe make the two third row mats click onto the rear cargo mat so it can be one piece or three pieces. Hopefully that...
@LinerX
@shandel - I agree with you completely. I want the same thing.
My main wants are to have a lip to contain water from ski/snowboard boots etc as well as need the mat to be dexterous (not slippery) for my dog not to slide around.
Hey! Any updates on getting full coverage with the third row seats down?
Another option is we purchased a cargo mat from Amazon and physically made a cut where third row seats could go up and down for my wife's Mercedes GLS. And you can roll up the mat when the third row is in use...
I have the same issue with my center dash over rougher patches of roads (22 wheels).
Please let me know what you find out and if they resolve the issue for you at the SC.
