Go with the Michelins but get the 116s as you tow. I switched to these and live in PDX too. They work great on dry wet and snowy conditions up in the mountains. Very smooth and quiet tire with a long warranty. You will enjoy them.

@LinerX @shandel - I agree with you completely. I want the same thing. My main wants are to have a lip to contain water from ski/snowboard boots etc as well as need the mat to be dexterous (not slippery) for my dog not to slide around.

I have the same issue with my center dash over rougher patches of roads (22 wheels). Please let me know what you find out and if they resolve the issue for you at the SC.
