    I believe it is against the law to void an entire warranty if the tires meet the manufacturer recommended specs...I guess how close those specs need to be is a question though.

    "Normal" Hard to say, because they (Rivian) are still pretty new at all this...I have not paid them anything in terms of down payment and financing is pre-approved, but technically not sure I have even bought the vehicle yet, maybe contractually I have to some extent...and I have a Rivian...

    Echo what @faastwheels said. Are you sure you want studded tires if you live in the Seattle area? I am not an expert by any means, but my sense is a true winter non-studded tire on a Rivian is going to be a winter beast in all but ice/nordic conditions... That said, the studded ones + Rivian...

    101% agree...for non-towing folks, 400 miles of range is the inflection point for the vast majority of American drivers. When we see EV's standardize on the 400mil mark, new ICE vehicles will cease to exist IMO...not sure how many years away that is, but seems like ~5 or so....2028 model year...

    That is exactly what two R1T drivers mention this weekend in Tahoe - they were losing traction monkeying around with Regen and then having to throttle up get traction back.     Alarm clock mode - car pre-heats or cools at specified times, so M-F 7:30AM ready to get rolling and fully A/C'd and battery conditioned.
