I can't figure it out....why Ford F150....but not Chevy Silverado? What would the angle on that?
  2. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

I I agree....sales are clearly softening...time to figure out how to move more product...and if I am wrong...and backlog is strong...then they should raise prices.
  3. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

That is exactly what I said....incentives to existing customers are not charity....they are to sell vehicles....maybe you misread everything I am saying....
  4. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

You must not understand the sales and marketing behind incentives to existing customer bases. It is used to sell more product to existing customers who otherwise might sit on sidelines. It is used to generate additional sales and not a form of charity. You must get that marketing from other...
  5. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

I agree. With a vehicle update it always could be end of road for software updates....
  6. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

Did he really say 1 mile a day? That is about .33%. Seems crazy low to be the threshold to be opening tickets.
  7. Possible updates / upgrades coming s00n! R2 software? -- Q&A with head of software Wassym Bensaid

This is me too. When mine sits at airport, if it is a shorter period I typically leave gear guard on, and I see 1-2% per day. If the stay is longer, then I turn it off, and it drops to 1% or less. Typically less.

  9. R1 Refresh (vs. Pre-Refresh) Reliability

Most that come off the line are solid, even back to my super early Vin. But some are still bad. I suspect same will hold true for a while, regardless if pre or post refresh.
  10. What happened to my rear caliper paint? -- peeling / rusting

Service did similar to one of mine....you would think they would be more careful....
  11. Guess it was my time - 12v is dead

I am still hoping in the future refresh or next gen R1 Rivian puts a mechanical keyed lock into the driver's door where the key is a part of the fob. And then a mechanical frunk release in the cabin. Then in a 12v failure, at least you can get in the cabin, release the frunk, and get at...
  12. Parts retention on warranty repairs

I assume they send it back to their vendor who credits them upon receipt of the damaged unit. Meaning....I am thinking they need it back to get compensated back.
  13. Rivian service every bit as bad as people say

What has all been corrected on your Rivian by the service center?
  14. Rivian service every bit as bad as people say

Curious what have you all had doen by a service center?
  15. Rivian service every bit as bad as people say

I am curious what have they all fixed on your vehicle?
  16. Rivian service every bit as bad as people say

I, too, have had good experiences with mobile and one barely acceptable in center visit...although I am accumulating a list of issues to have to journey to a service center for. Curious since you have 3 of them and they have had all good service center experiences (not sure 3 of 3 should need...
  17. Rivian service every bit as bad as people say

I honestly do get this....but I also wonder how much it hurts sales?
  18. Four Month Wait for Service

Hopefully Rivian plans to improve this.
