    I was shocked too! It is a Kuat rack. I messaged Rivian, so waiting on response. I bet it was customer fit. I asked Kuat about adapting it to the Rivian over a year ago. Kuat said they wouldn’t recommend it. Looks like it is possible.

    I’m in New Mexico so this is good news for us since we have to use the CO SCs. I wish Rivian would get a Service Center in Albuquerque. There are so many Rivians here now. Also, many people want to buy a Rivian here but they get stuck on the lack of SC here in Albuquerque.

    Yes they do! Called Rivian and asked if I could purchase and they said not at this time. They said they will show up in the gear store before they can be purchased.

  18. Rivian contacted me today to proactively schedule a 12V battery replacement by mobile service

    My 2023 R1S had the 12V randomly die with no warning 2 weeks ago. Mobile service tech said they have a battery shortage because many batteries were discovered to be a bad batch from a supplier. I’m happy to hear they are proactively fixing others before they go out.
