I have the same experience. Since the last update to the truck software I no longer lose PAAK function and the unlock/lock feature works well and consistently. I have an Iphone 12 pro.

I keep losing the bluetooth Key connnection in my Iphone 12 pro. I delete the key and reinstall and it works for a day or two then it cannot connect anymore. The one weird thing is the R1T still locks when I walk away but will not unlock when I return. I do also carry the fob.

Base on how VIN's have work the last 6 digits being the serial number I would say the R1S will have a different not intermingle with the R1T. They will have their own series.
