I'd ask why one would need 4 and not just 2 :) BTW, I too ordered a set of 4 since buying 2 is not cost effective but 1 is what I'd think most people would need for tire repairs and 2 for rotation. To lift the entire car I'd need 4 bottle jacks and I have no such plans.

I had bad luck with my Tesla on similar road trips on multiple occasions - 3 times in 2 years and the last one was a scary one in the middle of a storm. I don't know if these big tires are less prone to flat than smaller Model 3 tires but I wouldn't mind sacrificing some trunk space for time...

That's painful... hopefully it's not the norm to get a Rivian repaired under warranty ?

Have they figured the problem? If it's just a software issue I'd expect others on the same version to have it as well and an update would fix it but obviously their engineering would know better. Or maybe just buying time due to parts shortage? ;)

Thanks for the update! Wonder if the coolant leak is somehow connected to the vibration. Great to hear Rivian is taking good care of their customer. My R1 also takes a few extra minutes to cool compared to my X3 but it does cool. Good to know. I am getting the windows done this weekend.

Can you elaborate a bit more so I can check if it's an issue with mine as well? I do get all sorts of noise when backing close to a wall so assumed everything was in order. Do you not get any audiovisual warning? I noticed it but don't have to open the app on phone - usually just giving it 5...

I noticed it too but I am confident this can be fixed in an update. Will check again this weekend how it is after 2024.23.30 update.

I want to do it - what's a good way to measure? I got the unofficial Rivian integration going with Home Assistant but it just shows point in time information - not really useful like Teslamate.

Pretty sure my wife has tried all combinations but I'll see if I can find a case where it works without a slam.

I guess it's the side effect when every hardware module in the car is enabled by software but it's a step in the right direction.
