Catalina Cove reminds me of the Area 51 color when the Ford Maverick first came out. Certainly a unique color at first, but something you get sick of after awhile. At least it’s not another shade of grey!

Looks a lot like my Maverick, which is a compliment. Problem is without the $7,500 tax credit the value proposition changes dramatically.

Anyone else surprised Rivian isn’t going all out to move vehicles before the end of the federal tax credit? Perhaps they’ll announce something after 15-Sept but there were much better deals around the G2 launch.

Nothing great. Surprised Rivian isn’t motivated to move more vehicles before the tax credit ends and tariffs really start to hit the economy.

Unless you REALLY need the extra range, I’d drop the Max pack and just go with the Large pack. A used quad motor with Large pack is a compelling purchase at current market prices.

I suspect Rivian may increase the price of the quad motor in the near future to discourage buyers and push them to the in-house dual powertrain. The performance on and off road of the quad motor setup is incredible, but expensive for Rivian and the consumer.

Hahaha thanks for sharing! I put myself in a similar situation last summer (not towing) trying to minimize the number of charging stops. Some unanticipated long inclines dropped my range and I had to detour and use a slow level 2 charger to continue on. The important thing is you made it back...
