Sorry, do you mean 2-3 weeks before we get the vehicle, or 2-3 weeks before it even gets shipped?

We've been told our R1S is built, still at the plant in Normal. Any insight into how long it takes from completion of build to getting thru Normal QA and being shipped? We keep getting the boilerplate "it takes 6-8 weeks from getting a VIN to getting the vehicle", but does that account for when/...

Not sure Carmax will give you the highest offer, but we sold them our Tesla in 2020, and the process was relatively quick and painless.

We also have a LE LG/FE R1S, but with 21" wheels. Ordered MARCH 2019, pushed from April/May to October/December to February/March. Is Rivian hoping I'll die before delivery to avoid giving me original pricing?

We measured to make sure we could fit an R1T and R1S. Doable, if tight, but no longer necessary.

We sold our 2013 Tesla almost 2 years ago thinking our R1S was just around the corner. Great test for having just one car, but we're more than ready for our Rivian.

From the excuses I got when I heard from Caravano, March 2019 apparently was early enough, but being 2 hours away from the Sacramento Service Center and configuring the R1S as LE Green/FE interior, and 21" road wheels somehow created problems. Moved to October/December (this time)

How close are you to a Rivian service center?

Got an email 15 minutes ago telling me that our March 2019 pre-order of a LE R1S now has an October/December 2022 delivery window due to supply chain issues (for LG/FE w/ 21" road wheels??) and service location. We're 2 hours from Sacramento Service Center and I've seen R1Ts being delivered here...

Hope it's true that October 2019 is considered an earlier pre-order, as I am waiting to get any reliable info on my March 2019 R1S LE.
