Crazy. I literally off-road to trails and no issue. Wonder whatās different between our two setups? Either way though, like you said, recommend people pay close attention.

I didnāt. But I donāt see why it would be very different from our R1S thatās had zero issues (in fact, R2 might be even better as the R2 is shorter hitch to top of car).

I keep it that tight on my R1S with thousands of miles on the back with multiple different mountain bikes with 800+ mm bars and zero issues (Revel, Ari, Mondraker). Are you using a 1Up?

During my R2 drive (brief thoughts here) I was able to test fit my 1Up Equip'd rack. Not surprisingly, it fit great. Not quite as nice as it tucked up on our R1S, but still super clean. Few pictures for those interested:

Wow - weāve got almost 47k miles on our OC interior (Aug23 delivery) and it still looks brand new (in high desert climate of low humidity with heavy mountain biking and dog use). Something is definitely off with yours - either bad batch or aggressive use.

See if your interior temp is getting hot. Mine went up to almost 100° sitting in a 70-ish degree garage. And also just look for sudden vampire drain.

I hear you. Already had to change my plans - fly out tomorrow for about a week. Normally arrive at the airport at 40%. Using 8kWh per day on blinking lights (probably more the waking, I know), means my car will be dead when I return. Iām fortunate I can take our ICE vehicle, but sucks that weāre...
