This is the question. Larger tire probably isn’t needed for the increase in ground clearance (no “axle” you need to lift), but 35s would be sweet.

I *think* so, but honestly was short on time and didn’t check. Might hit the Equip’D’s handle? The Equip’D is so easy to put down it wasn’t top of mind. Sorry.

Do we get free "adapters" in colorado? I'm about to place my order, and I seem to recall something around that, but not sure how it works. Thanks!
-Rich
I was a first minute reservation, own an R1S and am close to the Colorado Springs service center. No invite yet. But my buddy in Denver, months later reservation, no Rivian ownership ever, got an order invite. Definitely seems somewhat random at this point.

I think that’s just a weird artifact. I was actually super impressed at the panel gaps for such an early unit. The only piece that wasn’t perfect was the nacs cover. And it was minor.

Crazy. I literally off-road to trails and no issue. Wonder what’s different between our two setups? Either way though, like you said, recommend people pay close attention.
-Rich
I didn’t. But I don’t see why it would be very different from our R1S that’s had zero issues (in fact, R2 might be even better as the R2 is shorter hitch to top of car).

I keep it that tight on my R1S with thousands of miles on the back with multiple different mountain bikes with 800+ mm bars and zero issues (Revel, Ari, Mondraker). Are you using a 1Up?
-Rich
During my R2 drive (brief thoughts here) I was able to test fit my 1Up Equip'd rack. Not surprisingly, it fit great. Not quite as nice as it tucked up on our R1S, but still super clean. Few pictures for those interested:

BFG just released a KO3 in 255/65R19 today:

Wow - we’ve got almost 47k miles on our OC interior (Aug23 delivery) and it still looks brand new (in high desert climate of low humidity with heavy mountain biking and dog use). Something is definitely off with yours - either bad batch or aggressive use.
