I had mine picked up this morning for some issues i scheduled weeks ago...(front camera inop, panel gaps, BT issues, suspension light that keeps going on, and a weird noise coming from my front end...). The driver was about 3 hours later than they told me. Also, I was supposed to get a loaner...
Awesome, I remember you! Too cool. I am happy for you. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask. Good luck. Mine has been pretty solid, minus a few Bluetooth frustrations and having to re-calibrate my Tonneau a few times. Otherwise, it has been fun to own and drive.
If I remember correctly, when mine was stuck in the intersection, the technicians were able to get underneath the vehicle and somehow do a manual override lock of the braking system and to be able to put it in the neutral. they also were able to override the internal locking system on the center...
Oh man. That sucks! I didn’t have the electrical fire smell. Hopefully you are in a safe location. Are they going to be able to get a flatbed in there? I would worry about the vehicle height. Mine took about 3 weeks to get back to me after they got it in the service center. Hope it isn’t too...
After 30+yrs in the Mil and LE, they sort of collect themselves. Plus I am an instructor and FFL on the side. I could live with only one if I had to…thanks for watching.
That is a great question. We were able to get out of the vehicle, but for some reason, the Center console locked would not unlock, as well as the tailgate and tonneau would not retract. The regular doors and the frunk were fine
That is what showed up on my screen. It wouldn’t let me shift into neutral or limp to a parking lot. I was dead in my tracks. Hopefully you can get it fixed without getting a whole new battery. Dang
I would consider mounting on the left most angle that runs up and down or on the bottom angled trim. I’m not an engineer or physics professor, but the sun hitting the phone holder all day makes that adhesive a little suspect. I also tried this mount as well. Sort of trying everything since the...
I couldn’t be more ridiculously disappointed with a lack of areas to mount normal cell phone holders, however, I did find one has a very small footprint on the backside and articulates pretty well. I’m not a fan of having on the left side since I’m a righty, but it will work for now. The...
Well, FINALLY got my R1T repaired and delivered. Albeit, it took over a week from the time the repair was complete and several calls with a very helpful and responsive Service Center employee in ATL, to schedule my delivery. Everyone was very professional and helpful.
I had a panel gap issue...
Damn that sucks. I drove mine less than 5 miles away from the SC/Delivery Center before it conked out with a critical battery failure. After an entire day of having techs trying to fix it, they luckily gave me a loaner R1T and I drove 4.5 hours back to Nashville from ATL. I am still waiting on...
There is a for sure anxiety. Having owned two Teslas, I can say that I had initial anxiety with them as well but mostly had no issues with Tesla. Sort of been spoiled. I am mildly okay with helping rivian work the bugs out, but not to a point that I have a lemon on my hands. Hopefully your air...
Received an update from the SC. Apparently, the High voltage battery had a connectivity problem, so they ordered an entire new skateboard battery, will drop the faulty one and reinstall a brand new battery hopefully this week. It will be shipped from KY to ATL they stated. Also they stated that...
Humbly, I would suggest downloading a Tesla checklist to start with, that way you don't forget some obvious things since many things you will want to inspect are the same or similar. Second, I would make sure that you look for signs of leaking in/around the retractable tonneau cover. It is not...
Still waiting for the service center team to call me. I opened the app and it shows the current battery charge, and location where the sZc is. No other notes or diagnosis.
Well, after picking up my R1T in the Atlanta service center, we started our drive back to Nashville...until we got to about 5 miles away and that is when I was in the middle of an intersection turning and a "Critical Battery Issue" alert went off on the steering wheel screen. The vehicle...
