I feel like we should start an āAtlanta LC 100 owners who also have Rivians that they use to tow fun stuff to North Georgiaā club.
We ride by (sometimes through) Vogel regularly after towing trailer full of dual-sport/adventure bikes up. Finally picked up an RV 30-amp adapter so we can camp...
Sorry for slow response been out of pocket for bit.
I used the ccr sport chocks.
This setup is working for me how I have it set upā¦but you definitely have to be careful with chock placement and not use it for tie-downs.
The main issue is the standoff mounting and the flex of the panels...
Those look like dead ringers for Slee SliderSteps (and a few others I expect). Have the Slees on our LX/LC and they are the bomb. And bomb-proof. But yeah attachment points matter.
I got two of these cycle gear ramps when they were on sale for $79. (I think they are pretty much perpetually on sale for $99.)
We got them for dirtbikes but I would think two could work for a lot of different things. Seem to be decent quality and fit in gear tunnel perfectly with room to...
Looks great! I did exact same thing and the visual difference was surprising. I knew it would look better but it really transformed the truck. The ATs ride a lot better than I expected and I havenāt really seen a huge efficiency impactā¦someā¦but feels like inside 10% for my missions. (But I...
Replacement Bluetooth Module fixed this btw. SC took care of it no problem. Took a couple days to get part in but not a big deal. Everything works perfectly now.
I installed mine over weekend. Very impressed with the quality of everything: parts, docs, shipping, etc. not inexpensive but you definitely get nice kit.
Went in easily (especially with the thoughtful retainer washers to keep all the bolts and spacers in place as you position everything.)...
I got it. Not certain mine wasnāt already done a couple weeks ago when it was in for the creak/tock (and a couple other things). My service record did reference retorquing but perhaps something else related to the half-shaft/hub. But maybe they knew it was coming and did that too.
I would...
Mine was corrected in service by lubricating half-shaft and retorquing bolts. Initially completely eliminated but feels/sounds like it might be creeping back in. Will monitor and report back.
We had em all. Giant DCS gas grillā¦kamado joeā¦.
Got a RecTeq a few months back and havenāt looked back for a moment. Much better experience. Low and slow is no brainer and as good as it getsā¦and even more āgrillā things (steaks burgers chicken fish) are great. Only thing I would add is MUST...
It was pretty straightforward. I just mentioned to my service advisor (when I was dropping off for a warranty fix) that I was interested and he said āWe can do that. Iāll ask our parts manager to order a set and weāll call you when they come in.ā
Ended up having them put on as part of some...
Yes and No. they were $5k for all 5 (and spare kit). So yeah not cheap.
But I have both sets now for that $5k Vs just the one set for $3500. So the way I look at it is I got what I originally wanted plus a set of factory oem 21 wheels and tires for an extra $1500. (I did exact same thing...
Updates:
- 20 AT Darks ordered and installed. Along with full-size spare kit.
- Fob and PaaK now work for āReadyā/Drive after Bluetooth module replaced.
- Remediation for Half-shaft Creak done by service center. (Havenāt looked listed super closely yet but definitely better. Hope it stays.)...
As @pfbz mentioned the @RivianXpress thread is pretty definitive.
I did a temporary/short-drive single bike load today. Dropping R1T off for service tomorrow and decided to use the trip as a test and load up a bike and ride home.
Just straps for now (with some back tension to keep the front...
Siri.
I donāt love voice commands from any of them (Siri, Alexa, google) but they are getting better and I do feel like Alexa in the R1T has been a lot better since latest update.
For me the CarPlay upsides are more about nav, waze, music, other/better third party apps/integration, etc. Siri...
This. ^
OTA? Yeah nah. And itās not suspension. Only accel and slowing (not bumps or braking) do it. At least with the issue I have.
Mine has gotten obnoxious.
Anxiously waiting for my service appt.
I keep going under with intent to do something but without so much as proper torque...
