Not sure if its the same problem. But, I used this trick on my wife's cross bars on her QX. It eliminated the whistling. Only had to do the front cross bar. You do have the cosmetic issue, though. But, its not really that noticeable.

I actually did select the truck and stupidly didn’t notice it was a launch edition. VIN was listed in the 4000’s but guide told me it had a build date in August (which is strange). So, just rethinking my decision on the selection and whether I want that early VIN.

So, if any of you saw the configuration you wanted in the shop, but it was a Launch Edition w/ a build date in August and a VIN in the 4000 range, would you still take it?

DFW shop emptied every truck (15-20 of them) instantly last week. Including 4 yellow trucks that were sitting there for days. It was like they pulled the plug, right when I was getting ready to select a truck. It’s been empty since. Weird.

Is there not a way to see the VIN number or Production Date on a truck that’s currently in the Shop? Can’t see it anywhere and thought someone said they found it or maybe they just asked their guide?

Good to know. Last I heard there were trucks on the lot, but still wasn’t open. Haven’t had a chance to drive by.

I have never seen a Truck in the ‘North Texas’ shop. I guess we’re still waiting on Dallas Service Center. Crazy.
