July 22 reservation holder here, just got my R1T shop access here in Denver. Only two expensive spec R1T showing up at the moment, do other regions see more options available at the moment? I was hoping to snag a LE if there were to show up again, otherwise probably change my order to a dual...
Quick follow up after my second test drive. Denver SC has multiple R1S cars getting prepared for delivery. My drive guide also mentioned that they have had as many as 15 deliveries a day and most of the deliveries were ahead of expected delivery windows.
OP here, looks like I will be doing a second first mile drive (second mile drive?) in two weeks. I am hoping each drive gets me closer to an actual truck, maybe someone in corporate will say sell this man a truck so he stops taking precious test drive slots...
OP here, just did my first mile drive. Great truck, drives super tight and nimble for its size. Commanding driving position and visibility like a Range Rover. Heavier than expected steering (almost like an E90 3 series). Glass roof with no cover lets a lot of heat through (big pet peeve of mine...
As the tittle of the thread states, I just got invited to the First Mile test drive. While I am happy to get to experience the R1T, I am a little suprised that I got invited at all considering it has only been couple of weeks since I placed my order. Is it because I live close to the Denver SC...
While this is true, selling the pre-price hike units in the future when the component costs will be even higher will kill their margins so it probably makes more sense to fulfill all the pre-March 2022 orders first…
Unfortunately we will not be offered those trucks (if we ever get access to the shop) at the prices you are seeing. Add about $15k on top of the prices you are seeing in the screenshots. The crazy part is even at around $90k, they are good value in today’s market. At $75k they are just simply...
Oh I am in Broomfield too! (Anthem Highlands) I actually saw a green R1T in the neighborhood last weekend and decided to order one. I was hoping the local service center would give us an advantage but maybe all the Mountain region reservation holders are buying their ordered cars so we don’t...
Oh I am not an early reservation holder (in fact I will be buying at the new and higher price) but I do live in Denver so I hope my proximity to the service center will boost my chances of getting access to the R1 shop. I would be delighted if I could get one before the end of the year to be honest…
Thanks for sharing this, super helpful! Does the system only let you see your own region? Or are you able to see the entire available inventory for the whole country?
