I think my favorite part is the contrast with the rest of the interior, and the warmth/color of the wood. It just feels and looks so premium. If I can take any other pictures that might help in the meantime, just let me know. I'd be happy to.
That's actually my truck in those pictures (my post too). I wish I was closer to show you, but the color is gorgeous. I ordered it without ever seeing it and it just works so well! Everyone that's seen it today is in love with it.
Hard to guess the direction of travel based on the resting places, but with the Subaru crushed the way it is on the driver side might imply they somehow pulled out in front of the Rivian. Let the speculation begin!
I preemptively requested to handle the registration myself. My guide should have an answer for me tomorrow and I'm taking delivery on Thursday. I can be in and out of the DMV in an hour versus waiting 90 days, so hopefully they just agree. We'll see.
I stopped by the Boston Service Center to try and snag a peek of my R1T before delivery this upcoming Thursday. I didn't get to see my truck, but I did get to see an to El Cap R1S that's appears to be the first one in New England. Gorgeous in person.
I was given the Window sticker and a front/back copy of the Certificate of Origin by my guide, for what it's worth. My credit union asked for the same thing and it wasn't an issue.
Hey FirstState, I'm currently active military in MA but am registering my truck in Delaware (born and raised). I expect to take delivery by the end of the week, just waiting on the final call. How long ago did you receive your truck/start the registration process? I know DE is backed way up with...
Based on what our guides have said, I'm assuming our trucks will be shipped together and most likely arrive at the same time. When I finalize everything Monday, I think I'll be in good spot. The truck coming 4 months early definitely threw me off!
Haha I was preparing myself for a 4-6 week wait. My guide was out of the office yesterday, so I'm trying to knock out the hard parts of the 8 steps in the hopes of lining everything up for the end of the month maybe. I have to head to the Cape on the 27th so it would be awesome to have it before...
And just like that, 8 Steps opened this morning. According to my guide, my truck just rolled off the assembly line. Vin: 8500 range. Trade in offer for my Wrangler 4xe was low, so exploring other options. The process definitely starts to go fast once it starts though, holy cow. Nerve wracking!
