+1 for AAA; not the cheapest, but have always had a really good experience with them when I've needed to use them.

I'm not familiar with that area, but in Southern California I get the exact same "funny math" when my route has a lot of elevation gain along the route.

He hasn't released it yet, but there is a design in the works for an aftermarket frunk fridge/freezer combo. I think if enough people sign up and show interest he's more likely to make a production version. I'm currently on the wait list for his frunk water tank too...
