This is also happening to me, making spotify totally unusable.
I've found a relatively simple workaround that seems to be working for now, but is annoying. When I pull into my driveway, I switch to radio away from Spotify. So far that seems to be working, but it means switching sources on...
I just experienced the same thing. I blamed it on my wife, who drove away with the fob and hadn't set up her key yet despite owning it for weeks.
So I tried deleting and re-adding and hope I didn't mess more up. But yeah, the system seems broken right now.
I've used it twice now, once on the way to Joshua Tree and once on the way back. Worked flawlessly. There are 5 normal stations, and one pull through station for trailers.
They've been telling a bunch of people (including me, and a coworker) that the Normal pickup is only available if you live in a close radius to the factory.
I really wanted to fly out and drive back to CA, but was told 4 weeks ago that it wasn't possible.
I'm still on 03.00.30, and checking daily because my guide informed me that the latest firmware 03.01.47 fixes the spaces and special characters in the WiFi SSID problems.
I'm broadcasting a dedicated SSID just for the charger until that firmware updates. Glad to see others are getting the...
It's on there, it's also on the "Vehicle Overview" page in my account in the upper left corner. I'm glad I checked my VIN before so I knew what number it was before it changed, because there really wasn't anything obvious before and after.
Well I finally figured out the delay. I noticed I had a new VIN # in my account, so I reached out and asked. Apparently it failed the final quality checks, so they found me a new truck and that one's in transit.
All of that is fine, I'd rather wait a few more weeks for a truck that is solid...
I asked my guide. I've tried not to bug her, but it had been two weeks since the last update and I was curious if it was in transit or not. I had another question I needed answering, so I used the opportunity.
The train to SoCal could actually be a totally different train from the SF Bay Area...
I'm going with the hope that a giant batch of vehicles is headed to CA together, and it's just about to leave. Yours will be right next to mine on that train. :)
My coworker just got his VIN, so we have a few trucks to keep track of and see how it progresses. We've all got to be headed west at...
I just got confirmation that my truck still isn't on a train yet.
I got my VIN and 8 steps started on 8/2. So we're at three weeks of it sitting in Normal, waiting around (and not letting me come pick it up at the factory).
It's obviously not the end of the world, I've waited 2 years already...
I'm in the SF Bay Area. I bought a truck in the shop on Aug 2, got my VIN that day. On Aug 3, my guide confirmed it was still in Normal at the factory.
On Aug 10, a week later, I was asking about something else and slipped in a question about where my truck was. It was still in the factory in...
Does anyone have good thoughts on calibrating the trailer brake gain with the R1T? With the regenerative braking, it seems like it will be hard to know how much the trailer brakes are engaging other than wildly too much or too little. Does the R1T do any auto calibration?
Maybe I'm...
It did the same for me, adding the accessories in with one exception.
My shop selected truck didn't have a full sized spare, and I asked if I could add one once I bought it. They told me they couldn't change that, but it'll be in the Gear Shop towards the end of this year.
But the crossbars...
Ugh, that's why I'm extra bummed about not being allowed to fly out and pick it up in Normal. It'd be a super fun road trip home, and I'd get my truck earlier. My schedule even works out for it neatly the next week or two.
I don't know how much it costs to ship a truck via train, but it's...
Yikes, yeah that is frustrating. The endless wait before having a VIN was so much easier, because it was all abstract. They could definitely improve the communication for these steps, especially now that delivery is going to be so slow for a lot of people.
My charger arrived at least, and I...
I signed all the docs and took care of *most* of the 8 steps right away, on the 2nd. The only two things I haven't done are finalize insurance or wire them the $10k. With my guide call I asked if either of those matter to delivery timing, and she said no that I was all set until hours before...
I reached out once I got the tax credit email, to see if I should sign that or not. I was told my purchase isn't finalized yet, so if I wanted to lock in then signing is the right way to do so. At the same time, I asked what my truck status was since I already had the guide answering questions...
I just got confirmation it's still sitting at the factory in Normal. It's not on a train headed west, and I was told last week I couldn't come get it in Normal. So I guess I still have quite a few more weeks of waiting impatiently.
I hope my truck is on that train! Also SF Bay Area, got a VIN (from the shop) on Tuesday the 2nd, guide contact on the 3rd saying it would likely be by train and final delivery in a few weeks.
I haven't heard if it's actually on the train or not, and I'm probably not going to harass my poor...
