It’s not noisy at all for a normal vehicle, if he meant EV then just say that to begin with. It’s remarkably quiet compared to most vehicles I’ve driven.

Set the regen to Standard, if it's on High it will be quite jarring as a first time EV driver. At least that was my experience, Standard took maybe a couple stops to get used to.

You can find decent deals on Ebay if you’re patient enough, I snagged a 1TB Shield T7 today for just over $200 with the $10 off coupon for ordering through the Ebay mobile app. It’s not the best pricing compared to 6 months ago, but who knows what the future holds for SSDs.
