Plugged in to 110 sub zero and we lost about 20% in a day. Unplugged now and suspect this large drain will stop as i agree with the above comment.
āBut I do suspect that almost all of the 1400 watts the 110 charger can draw is going towards battery conditioning instead of battery charging in...
iām waiting for someone to prove the loss with and without. Iāve also heard as little as 1% Difference. I have 21s but not motiviated enough to test myself so only put them on for long road trips just in caseā¦
yes, Rivian hotspots works great in places where it has coverage... no different than hotspotting with my phone. In this case was just testing starlink on the road but my real use case for Starlink is boondocking in locations that i canāt work from without it.
Iām also waiting for the day that Starlink is allowed for vehicles in motion! I did add a mount to the top of our Sprinter camper van to help avoid obstructions while boondocking. love the potrability now that Starlink has an RV plan (pay more for worse service)
couldnāt agree more. Just got back from our first Denver to St Louis roadtrip and only EA made this possible. Until Telsa opens their network, EA is the solution. Other fast charge networks are just too slow for a large battery pack.
Driveway needs to make money so of course they wonāt give top dollar. If you search used āretailā R1T prices (not trade in) online you wonāt fund anything under 100k
i also originally had Max Pack with OC interior with late 2021 order. Recently switched to what they were actively building (large pack and FE interior) and had truck under a month. Having a nearby service center also helps!
two weeks ago we changed our configuration to what Rivian was actively building and getting our R1T today. Could have received sooner but a business trip got in the way! Bye bye max pack but wanted a guaranteed tax credit. Cya on the road
oct 21 order
Silver, FE, 21s, no spare (yet)
