Makes me start to question my interior color choice. Really love the OC but the extra wear on such a light interior could make BM a better long term choice.
Also, 100% support adding running boards. Hopefully factory option forthcoming.
Just passing along what I was told. IMO, not worth the risk, especially when considering you're voiding the factory warranty (at least w/Tesla it was, unsure with Rivian as I have no intention of tinting the roof).
As a bald man with experience in 4 Tesla's, I wouldn't recommend tinting the...
Sorry if this has been said already, but a strong warning on tinting glass roof...
I did ceramic tint on my Model S windows and windshield and was told by a very reputable company that they absolutely would not tint the glass roof. They've seen cases where the glass shatters as a result...
This absolutely terrifies me and things like this are why I canceled my original 2019 order (ordered again in 2021). I had a 2014 Tesla and although they treated owners like kings back then, the cars had a TON of issues. It takes a few years of trial and error to make a quality product. I'm...
Hey Mark, I'm in Gilbert also! Seeing a few R1T's around made me finally make the leap away from Tesla after owning 4 of them. I was an early adopter over there and it was a tough decision to break away. Now I'm super jealous of those that jumped on the Rivian bandwagon a lot earlier.
This is probably overthinking things (seems like that is par for the course here), but I had been debating between Forest Green and El Cap exterior, with the OC interior. The change of wood color now pushes me more toward El Cap now. The light wood had a nice flow with the green exterior.
It's crazy how different everyone's tastes are. I personally would have preferred they use the walnut if the light wood was hard to source. The natural wood colors fit Rivian's MO better IMO :)
This reminds me of the early days of Tesla where too many choices caused disfunction and delays...
