    It's been over a year since I had a working power cover. From what I remember, the original made a lot of clacking noise as it was closing. With the new one, I can hear what sounds like brushes as it's retracting.

    You're fortunate that it still works. Mine lasted less than one month. It sounded like it would fail at any moment and it did.

    Same. I drive our M3 now and I feel like my butt is dragging on the ground, the interior is utilitarian, the touch screen is busy, and I do believe I can no longer park without the Birds Eye view.

    Thanks so much for sharing this. I ordered the Maverick cover. It was easy to install thanks to your advice. It is secure and looks great. Bonus, I may be able to sell it when Rivian rolls out the new cover.
