I have the compact spare in my R1S. I have never had to use it, but I love that it gives me that security in case I ever need it. I will definitely be getting it with the R2. It would be awesome if the R1 spare is exactly the same as the R2, but I doubt it.

but don’t our jackpucks have fairly strong magnets built in? I’m sure those can be utilized to minimize any of the movement you are talking about. There has to be a way to create a snug enough adapter to work with the R2. Our R1 pucks can’t all of a sudden become obsolete.

@Mark_AZR1T, I understand that this would be a good opportunity to create and sell new jack pucks for the R2. But, for those of us who have an R1 and who are considering purchasing an R2, would it be possible to create an adapter to fit the R2 jackpoints and still utilize the pucks we purchased...

Wait a minute, so if I sell my R1S, are you all saying I should keep my mobile charger and not give it to the person who purchases the R1S? It sounds like you all are keeping your chargers after getting rid of the older vehicle because you have these things lying around...

The Rivian Washer fluid has an absolutely delicious aroma. I sometimes just spray the windshield to get the smell in the cabin even if the windshield doesn't need to be cleaned! 🫣

THIS IS BRILLIANT!! I have one of these sitting in my garage cabinet. Why haven't I been using this all these times I have been rotating the R1S's tires?! 🤦🏻‍♂️ I am coming up for a rotation very soon, and this will definitely save my lower back. Thank you!

I wonder if they are rolling out to the Dual Motor R1(T/S)s without the Performance upgrades first. The rest of us will have to wait even if we have the Connect+ subscription...

Would you mind sharing what your R1 sounds like now that the FDU has been replaced? It would be a good comparison to what it sounded like before. I am noticing my 2024 R1S Dual Performance Max, which I picked up in Dec '03 making a similar sound and want to compare to your fixed rig. Thanks!

I feel like all these R2 teasers are just cleverly introducing potential color options. There is a distinct color theme in each of these vids to my eye.
